Jos Standerwick

Jos Standerwick joined the Baltic Exchange as Head of Membership in January 2026, leading membership services and the Membership Council. He had previously worked with the Baltic as a consultant from July 2024, supporting the development of the KYC Platform and membership initiatives.

The Baltic is the world’s leading source of independent freight market data. Our information is used by shipbrokers, owners & operators, traders, financiers and charterers as a reliable and independent view of the dry bulk, tanker, gas, container and air freight markets.

Jos provides consultancy services to Maritime London, the trade association responsible for maintaining and growing the UK’s position as the world’s leading provider of maritime professional services.

In addition, he sits on the UK Government Maritime Advisory Council, the Department for Business and Trade’s Maritime Exports and Investments Group, the Shipping Sanctions Taskforce and the National Maritime Security Committee. Jos is a National Council member of Maritime UK. He is also a Council Member of the Baltic Exchange, Chair of the London International Shipping Week Steering Group and a trustee of the Maritime London Officer Cadet Scholarship.
