Now in its 12th year, London International Shipping Week is the pinnacle showcase event underlining the world-class maritime sector in London – and the rest of the UK – to an international audience.
LISW25 comprised over 350 official industry events and functions, offering a huge array of networking and engagement opportunities for leaders across all sectors of the international shipping industry – regulators, charterers, ship owners, ship managers, bunker suppliers, lawyers, ship brokers, bankers, insurers, insurance brokers, commodity traders and brokers, ship suppliers, port operators, shipping service providers, and with the support and participation of several UK government departments.
The LISW25 Headline Conference and Gala Dinner attracted the very highest-level government and shipping industry leaders from the UK and around the world to discuss the key issues of the moment, keeping shipping at the forefront of an ever-changing world.
For the first time, LISW25 introduced the Global Hub – a new feature held at County Hall, London. The Global Hub brought together international delegations, government ministers, ambassadors, CEOs and industry leaders for a full day of high-level seminars, exhibitions, and networking focused on global maritime trade, innovation, sustainability, and investment.
Featuring country-led presentations, ministerial participation, sector-specific sessions and an international showcase of maritime expertise, the Global Hub quickly became a major focal point of LISW25 and reinforced the event’s status as a truly international platform for business and policy exchange.
London International Shipping Week is organised by Shipping Innovation together with the support and cooperation of the Department for Transport, British Ports Association, Baltic Exchange, Maritime London, Maritime UK, The Society of Maritime Industries, UK Chamber of Shipping and UK Major Ports Group. LISW is created and produced by Shipping Innovation – a joint venture between Elaborate Communications and ship.energy (formerly Petrospot).
London remains the beating heart of the international maritime industry, which is why the maritime world consistently returns to London to do business.
LISW will return on 13–17 September 2027.
