Andrew Williams

Andrew retired from Braemar ACM Shipbroking Ltd as Global Head of Offshore and a member of the Operating board in October 2021.

He graduated from Southampton University with a degree in Geology and joined Jacobs and Tenvig Offshore in London as an Offshore Vessel Ship broker in October 1977. Following a series of mergers, he has spent all his working life Vessel broking in the chartering and sale and purchase markets within the Offshore Industry initially with Jacobs Offshore and then Seascope Shipping who he joined as a director. After Seascope’s successful float, was appointed a PLC Director in 1999. Further mergers between Seascope and Braemar and Braemar and ACM saw him continue as Director and be responsible for opening offices in Singapore and Houston. He developed the subsea vessel and renewables sides of business also.

Prior to University, Andrew spent three months at sea working his way to and from Australia on board Scan Austral lines Vessel Tarago.

His interests are travel and most sports in particular Athletics and Rugby. Andrew served as President of Weybridge Vandals RFC for four years.
